Lenna Kuurmaa will leave from Estonia to start to study acting on 2. October in TVI Actors Studio in New York.

Lenna talks to magazine Just! that she had totally forgotten about applying for that place in the school and that made the surprise even bigger when she got an e-mail that she was accepted there. From 100 people only 5 were chosen and Lenna was one of them:
"I started to think that maybe I should go.. And finally thought that if they think that I really have the chance to do something there, then I will of course go!".
Lenna got the money for the studies from the tours they had in the Summer. She wasn't looking for any sponsors and she hopes to manage with her own power and purse.
Only some people know about the Big Apple plans Lenna has. Her mother and ninja-girls were stunned at first, but they will support her. She doesn't want to give up music, this is still the most important thing for her, but Lenna wants to accomplish things in different projects.
Studying acting in New York is one part of her self-improvement.
"If I see, that studying in NY is not really what I want to do and doesn't give me anything ,- which is not likely to happen-, then I don't have to stay there for several years." Lenna hopes that this experience will help her broaden her world-view and inspiration.

Lenna will spend 2 months taking lessons at the TVI Actors Studio. Because of that, Vanilla Ninja will take 2-months performing-break.

As official website says, Vanilla Ninja will play on two free concerts in Pirita`s Youth Club and Nomme`s Youth Club in 29th and 30th September. Both events start at 19.00 Estonian time.

In the new issue of Just! magazine is written that one of the participants in the TV show "Tantsud Tähtedega" (Dance with stars) is Piret Järvis, but there isn't a longer report so we don't know if it's true. Last Piret's dance project was "Estonian Pussycat Dolls".

Buduaar Shopping asked Vanilla Ninja, who they really wanted to be.

"Oh, there were so many professions - when I was playing with my Barbie doll, I wanted to become a hairdresser," tells the keyboarder Katrin Siska. "Later I wanted to be a lawyer and then a supermodel."
Lenna wanted to become a hairdresser, a doctor and a princess. "There were all possible child's dreams. When I had understood the world a little better, I wanted to become a singer and an actress," says the girl who earns her money now exactly for being a singer.
Piret, the guitar player, wanted to open a dog hotel as a child. "The idea was that if people for example were going on a trip, I would offer an overnight stay possibility to the domestic animals." says Piret who some time later dreamt of the Miss Universum crown.

Lenna answered a few questions about community portal Orkut.com for Just! magazine.
"I don't visit Orkut very often. It is important for me only because I have birthdays of my friends there, which I usually forget. With the help of Orkut I correspond with my fans, who write to me there. It feels good that there are all friends and the friends of these friends together."

Raadio Uuno starts the autumn with a new logo, a new website and a new program. At the "Lounge UpUp", the staff of Raadio Uuno, their friends and their partners celebrated the new logo. Music acts were Tanel Padar and Lenna Kuurmaa and as eye-candy the "Uuno Rockbabes". One of the guests was also the second ninja beauty, Piret Järvis. See the photos here.

On the 23rd of August, the three Ninja girls gave autographs in Tartu to all people who were interested. Katrin reminded the Fans that fans can visit the Kristiine-Center in Tallinn at the 6th of Semptember to get autographs and make photos. Furthermore there are cameras (on the whole 6th september) where the ninjas film to make a documentary.
Katrins comment about the autograph hour in Tartu:
"It went well and a lot of people were there. We signed VN-excercise books and let us photograph. Everyone was satisfied."
Piret's comment about the autograph hour in Tartu:
"I am really pleased. There were surprisingly many autograph hunters and it was heart-warming to see so many happy faces around us. I look forward to the next autograph hour in Tallinn."
